How long does it take for a Zebra Finch to lay another egg?

I just bought a zebra finch yesterday and it just layed one egg today. it seems after it layed the egg it started to eat and her feathers started to spread out and now its just sitting, not moving. Does this mean that its about to lay a other egg?
