What would you do in this situation?

Ok so I'm in orchestra and yesterday we went to a nursing home to play for the elders. The choir also came with us. The choir sang 2 songs by themselves well one when they started to sing this one old woman was hold her ears literally screaming "OH JUST SHUT UP ALREADY!!" about 6 times. When it was the orchestra's time to play she said it again and our conductor started to CRACK UP in the middle of song and turned red while the rest of us lightly chuckled and started awkwardly at one another.
