Abortion Conflict (Scott Peterson Trial)?

I raise this point quite often in defending the pro-life stance. There is a discrepency in the legal system that, one one hand says the baby of the expectant mother has a right to life, and on the other hand says the expectant mother has the right to pay to have someone murder it.
