Is it possible to hide myself from 1 Facebook Friend (without removing the friend)?

I have one friend on Facebook who I do not wish for him to see me in his list of friends for a temporary period. Is it possible for me to become "invisible" to him but still remain his friend, not delete him and reappear whenever I decide to ... ?
