Why are people so dependent on polls in the McCain-Obama race?

Mostly they are not true but this McCain win is an exemption. Don't become the same victim that the media propaganda had laid for the Dem empty suit that snared voters in the early Dem nomination exercise. Trending is a vicious tactic of the Obama Democrats.
